Each cycle menu has the best product and most economical food items designed to meet your PPD (Price Per Day). Inventory and PPD assistance is readily available from
our dietitians and sales staff. Our healthcare bid contracts are being monitored constantly to determine that we have the right products at the right price and any items on the contract have manufacturer's allowances or rebates which help you manage your food cost and PPD.
We are a member of a group purchasing organization (GPO),
Health Services (http://www.hsgpo.com/). This relationship allows us to access hundreds of manufacturer's allowance or rebates to increase profit, reduce cost and improve operations in your facility. All healthcare customers are eligible to enroll in this cost- savings program.

Michael Gros received a Bachelor of Science degree from Nicholls State University in 1998. He joined Doerle Food Services in 1999 as a District Sales Consultant. One year later Mr. Gros was promoted to District Sales Manager in 2000 and is currently the District Sales Manager in the Bayou area which is Lafourche, Terrebonne, St Mary and Ascension Parishes. Mr. Gros feels that our attention to detail and the way everyone in the company values our customers is just one of the things that separates Doerle's from the competition. He believes that this type of hands on approach to helping our customers grow their business is second to none. The other thing that separates Doerle's from the competition is being the only true broad line distributor in Louisiana which allows us to work with regional brokers to get customers the best value on quality products and services.
Michael's district has won district of the year three times in the pastsevenyears, in 2006, 2007, and more recently in 2012. He has also been awarded the company wide "Special Recognition” award in 2002. Michael's vision for the company is to keep growing sales and separating ourselves from the competition by building long-term relationships between sales consultants and our customers.
In April 2015, Michael moved to the Energy & Marine division to be the Sales manager and was appointed the position of Director of Healthcare Sales in May of 2016.
Jane Conley joined Doerle Food Services in January 1, 2005. She spent over twenty years in the healthcare industry as a Dietitian, a Nutritionist, and an Instructor a practical nurse program at a Vocational Technical School in Jefferson Parish.Jane is a member of the American Dietetic Association, Louisiana Dietetic Association, Lafayette District Association, Consultant Dietitians in Health Care Facilities Dietetic Practice group, and Dietitians in Business and Communications Dietetic Practice Group. Jane Conley has also won several awards including Outstanding Dietitian(1995), Volunteer of the year(1996), and the Terry Cromwell, MD Volunteer of the year(2010).
As Doerle Food Service's Corporate Dietitian Jane provides our clients with individualized service in menu customizing, food cost analysis, Medicare and Medicaid survey prep, and staff training. Jane Conley's personal goal is to insure each healthcare customers attains the budget control they desire and achieve excellence in their food service department using cutting edge technology and programs to make their job easier and more productive.
Mary Jumonville joined Doerle Food Services in January of 2014 as a Corporate Dietitian. She has over 12 years experience in healthcare and food distribution, over 9 years as a child nutrition supervisor in the school food service industry, and several years in administrative dietetics in the hospital setting. Mary is a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND), the Louisiana Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (LAND) and the Acadiana Nutrition & Dietetic Association (ANDA). As a Corporate Dietitian at Doerle Food Services, Mary assists clients in all areas of healthcare including food cost analysis, staff development and training, menu and product implementation and sales staff support. Her goal is to always assist the customer in reaching their business goals while providing safe, quality food to their patients or residents.
Healthcare Sales Specialist
Erica Gidman Venable joined Doerle Food Service as a Healthcare Sales Specialist in March of 2015. She has 8 years of experience in Outside Healthcare Sales and worked as a Healthcare Specialist for another foodservice distributor. She graduated form the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics. She completed her Dietetic Internship at McNeese State University in 2006.
In joining Doerle's Healthcare team, her role is to assist healthcare customers, giving them the support and tools they need to manage the foodservice department efficiently. She provides ongoing training, food cost analysis, menu & tray card development, product knowledge and staff education.
Her personal goal is to continue growing Doerle's healthcare business by being able to meet customers and residents expectations by offering quality service, products and a pleasurable receiving, productions and dining experience.
Paula Weeks joined the Doerle Healthcare team in June of 2015 as a Corporate Dietitian for the Shreveport Division. She has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist. Her work experience includes Hospital Food Service Director, Clinical Nutrition Manager, Healthcare Specialist in food distribution, Preceptor/Instructor for Louisiana Tech University Dietetic Program, and School Food Service Supervisor. She is a certified ServSafe instructor through the National Restaurant Association and is also a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND), the Louisiana Dietetic Association (LDA) and has served as state President and Delegate. She was appointed to the Louisiana Board of Examiners in Dietetics and Nutrition (LBEDN).
Paula brings her many years of healthcare experience to our Shreveport Division to provide support to the sales staff and customers. She is dedicated to service and providing top quality that exceeds the customer
Corporate Dietician - New Orleans
Eva Marcantel joined Doerle Healthcare team in December 2016 as a Corporate Dietitian in the New Orleans area. She has 9 years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian. Eva received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and completed her internship at McNeese State University. She is a member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Louisiana Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic, the New Orleans Nutrition and Dietetic Association, and won Emerging Dietitian of the Year 2012. Prior to beginning her career with Doerle, she worked as the Clinical Dietitian Lead at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Eva brings her experience in clinical and foodservice operations from the acute care arena to innovate patient centered care to Doerle healthcare customers. /p>
